Power YMF
The program allows you to tweak your YMF7x4 (YMF724, YMF740, YMF744 and YMF754) sound card driver. Using this program you can increase quality of WAV and MP3 files and audio CD playback. You can enable non-documented high quality 44.1 to 48 kHz samplerate converter to increase quality of WAV and MP3 playback and quality of audio CD. The program includes high quality 4.61 MB wavetable bank, so you can set it instead of default 2.3 MB 8-bit quality bank and hear XG and GM/GS MIDI files with the professional sound quality. You can also download additional Dance Bank with modern samples and compose dance, techno, jungle and trance music using XG technology without external wavetable samplers. Voice controls allow you setup optimal balance of hardware voices between MIDI, audio and game applications. You can enable up to 64 voices for MIDI files playback. You can enable and disable some hidden and standard features of the software driver: the DS-XG control paned tabs, DirectSound 3D functions, game port interface, Legacy support, Soundius XG Synthesizer, SP/DIF interface, Power Control Module etc. If your manufacturer stops development new software drivers, you can use the driver from another manufacturer. The program helps you to setup this external driver to your hardware. The utility can change features set of the external hardware driver and even enable hidden features. It includes also over 1MB of high quality XG MIDI files, licensed by the world best XG MIDI composers to use with the program.
