The Cam-Phone is an Internet videophone designed and developed for Broadband connected PC's. It is quick to download, simple to install and very easy to use. Its innovative GUI makes it easy to make calls using just an e-mail address. Its phonebook feature lets you make calls with just a mouse click Any time that you log onto the Internet, the Cam-Phone is ready to use, with a Broadband (ADSL) connection this is all the time. It deploys peer-to-peer technology to provide real-time voice and video communication over IP enabled networks. Clear images are displayed at a resolution of 320x240 pixels. Its voice over IP capability can be used over a 56k modem link, and still images can also be sent. The Cam-Phone is ideal for anyone who has friends or relatives in far-flung places. When you log on, Cam-Phone speaks to our phone book server and announces your online status. When people wish to dial you, they contact the phonebook server to find out the IP address that you are currently using. The Cam-Phone uses Video for Windows, any web-cam that supports RGB24 is compatible, and it can be used on most of the available Windows operating system. The Cam-Phone is perhaps the easiest communications software you will ever use.
