4TOPS Excel Import Assistant helps you to import data from Excel in Access in a controlled way. While moving row after row through your Excel table(s) you can instantly fill in missing or alter erroneous data before transferring it to your database. The wizard is an alternative to either writing an ODBC query on Excel as a datasource or retyping all the data. The Import Assistant is useful in the following situations: - you have to fill an Access database with data from an administration which was previously kept in Excel. The assistant will help you transfer different parts of the spreadsheet to different tables and help you fill in missing and find and replace incorrect data. - data is delivered to you by different sources using mail and Excel attachments.
