This program is for those of us that find Windows 95 to be somewhat inadequate, and downright faulty at times in regard to setting up file associations. In case you're unsure, let me explain exactly what a file association is: In either File Manager or Explorer, you can double-click on a TXT file, and it will be quickly displayed using the Notepad applet. That is because TXT files are associated with Notepad. This program will allow you to easily change that association to a more powerful text editor, if you wish. It will also allow you to associate any file extension with whatever program you wish, as well as an associated icon. VB40032.DLL required. (was asc12.zip)
