Delete Duplicates for Windows is a tool designed for detecting and deleting duplicated files. Scanning Methods There are 3 scanning methods: Classic, Hash and Light. In short, this is what the program does regarding scanning methods: Classic - Compares entire file contents Hash - Compares file's hash values Light - Compares file's dates and sizes Filters Filters are intended to narrow up the search. Following filters are available: Match Name (example: My Document) Match Extension (example: doc) Match Size (KB) (example: 200) Filters are inclusive (it is possible to specify "all" or "any" filters match). Action Action that can be taken on detected duplicates can be: Delete to Recycle Bin (default) Wipe Move to Custom Folder Log feature gives user a transparent overview of past program activities.
