Micro-Flight is a 3D photorealistic flight simulator which simulates flight over terrain and land vehicle navigation. The simulator has a highly realistic flight model built especially to simulate low speed flight characteristics and control and has a unique atmospheric model which simulates the flow of air over 3D terrain including realistic thermals and ridge effects which makes soaring as real as possible. Micro-Flight can simulate a glider tow by plane or by truck and has fully controllable weather and atmospheric conditions by day or night, a huge land environment based on real topographic data and aerial photography. The interface includes a fully functional 3D cockpit with no overlays which allows unrestricted view panning and movement. Micro-Flight has multiplayer capability for online flying and racing in an extremely immersive environment and was built using the latest technology in 3D graphic acceleration, sound mixing and multiplay.
