Retirement Planner will help you list your expenses, assets and investments to project your financial needs now through the remainder of your career and into retirement. The program contains simple worksheets allowing you to enter personal data, investment data, assets, income and expenses. The program automatically compensates for the time value of money, the calcuations are internal to the program so you as a user don't need to fill sheet after sheet with complex financial calculations. A graphical output projects your net worth on a monthly basis from now to the end of your retirement. The graph is adjusted for all you montly living expenses, the return on your investments and inflation as well as income taxes and social security payments. Another graph shows future income vs expenses over the same period of time, revealing any periods where expenses outstrip income, leaving you vulnerable. The on-line users manual contains complete, screen by screen instructions on how to use the program as well as an overview of the retirement planning process.
