Localization / Translation / Internationalisation Software. Software Translator translates any Windows applications into new languages without affecting or altering the source code in any way. Software Translator is a 'translation driver' in the same way as you already have, for example, a printer driver and a mouse driver. Software Translator is currently supplied with 27 languages, including Chinese and Japanese, and it is possible to choose any language as 'source language' and any language as 'target language'. Software Translator can run in "hidden mode" invisible for the user. The languages that come with Software Translator contain around 3000 common phrases and will of course need to be added to the software that is to be translated, but for testing the process itself this works very well.
