TitleFactory provides text to image creation for DVD and video subtitles, and captions, and other uses. TitleFactory consists of two products. TFactory allows the creation of images based on text files. It can create subtitles and captions in BMP, TIF, GIF, PS, EPS, PSD and other formats. Full control over the placement of text on the images, fonts, colors, etc is supported. The user provides a single text file which TFactory parses based on its rules, and determines the best fit for the text on the images. TFactory is truly a factory, meant for mass production of text to image files. Provide it with the raw material and TFactory will create thousands of images, if needed. Support for inspecting the resulting images quickly and easily is also provided. TFactory can be used wherever text to image creation is required. TFactory is packaged with ImageMagick, a free and powerful command line graphics manipulation utility. TLister is an included product that provides DVD Authorware integration. It allows one extract from video editing packages, the timecode information for images placed on a timeline. This allows the resulting files to be used by DVD Authoring packages that support subtitles and captions.
