Many dialog boxes, as Extract or Add, are fully sizeable. You can drag and drop files from ZipZag to other applications in order to open them, or to Windows Explorer in order to extract them into a specific directory. The Batch Add feature allows to compress many files at one time, each in its own archive. The Batch Extract feature allows to extract many files at one time. The Merge Archives feature creates a single archive from a couple of smaller archives. Hot Edit feature extracts a file, lets the user edit the file, then reinserts the file into the archive. ZipZag can span or unspan a zip file using the standard procedure, and even slice and restore any type of files. ZipZag has a build-in viewer that works with most popular formats, like HTML, XML, DOC, XLS, BMP, ICO, JPG, TIFF, TGA, PNG, PCD, PSD, PSP, PCX and more. C++, Delphi, CSS, Java, Java Script, Visual Basic, Visual Basic Script, Perl and PHP source code is viewed using highlighted syntax. Unknown text file formats are viewed as text, unknown binary file formats are viewed as hexa. As for file operations, ZipZag does just about anything you can do in Windows Explorer, plus you can wipe a file by overwriting it with 'X's before detete it, making the file impossible to recover.
