The Suite includes StatCalc, StatCalc Tutor, DataCalc, and the Research Methods Handbook. StatCalc 4.1 is a calculator that uses summary statistics (means, proportions, counts) to develop confidence intervals and conduct basic significance tests. Graphs frequency histograms and scattergrams. StatCalc Tutor provides interactive instruction, examples, and review questions on using StatCalc modules and learning how to apply the results of a statistical analysis. DataCalc is a spreadsheet design that creates, imports, exports delimited data files. Creates summary statistics, produces basic descriptive and inferential statistics, and creates crosstabulations. The Research Methods Handbook is an easy to understand reference for students taking research methods courses. Provided as a context sensitive html help system.
