Folder View
Tired of constantly browsing through your system, looking for the right folder, drive or network location? Access them all in one click with Folder View! Navigating between the different folders on the computer or the (company-)network is one of the big annoyances when working with a computer. The searches for folders and files takes much time and many mouseclicks, no matter how the folders are arranged. When opening and saving files inside a program, the same thing is true: almost every file you want to use, leads to another quest through the system. With Folder View, these quests are over. With Folder View, every favorite folder, important disk or frequently used network location is accessible in just one click. What is Folder View? The way Folder View works can be split into two parts. The first, most visible part is a bar which appears on the right side of the screen. On the upper part of it, you will find a row of buttons. Every button represents a subfolder of your 'My Documents' folder. When you select a button, the lower part of the bar will show the files of the related folder. No searching, one click is enough. The lower part of the bar behaves exactly like the Windows Explorer, but focused on the selected folder. You can easily add a button for every folder on the harddisk, removable drive or the network you access often; as a shortcut, so nothing has to move. In this way, all important folders and files are only one click away, wherever they reside on the hard drive or the network. Open / Save The second part of Folder View shows when you're opening or saving files from another application. Folder View automatically integrates with the well known Open/Save dialog windows which are used by almost all applications. In this way, the folders you use in the bar are also one click away in these dialogs. In practice, Folder View saves the user a lot of headaches and lots of mouseclicks a day.
