Express Recognition Server quickly converts thousands of static paper documents – faxes, photocopies and images – into editable and searchable electronic files such as PDF or Txt - all within an automated workflow. This best of breed OCR software solution can run as a standalone solution or in combination with Adlib’s Express Conversion and Express Publishing Servers to provide a wide array of document conversion (Word to PDF, PDF to Word, PDF to Text and more), document security and PDF editing and publishing functionality (document assembly, and stamping). Express Recognition Server can be further enhanced with Barcode Recognition and Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) options. In addition it can perform OCR on specific regions of a page - a process known as Zonal OCR – and extract the recognized data into XML files for further analysis.
