Space Watch v3 is a program that lets PC and network users search and analyse disk space use quickly and easily; pinpointing unexpected and unwanted files and directories as well as important changes over time. Space Watch v3 is the first program to provide space ownership search and analyses on both Netware and NT systems - at the same time. Using highly graphical presentation of space use, linked by single click 'drill down', finding - and acting on - the information you want becomes quick and easy. Space Watch v3 collects a profile of the chosen PC, server or servers in a database for off-line analysis. Standard data available immediately includes colour-coded 'trees' of space use; installed products and programs; duplicates; space by file type and more. More advanced analyses available on demand include graphs of space distribution by user over time; by file size; by last access/update. Also included are many built-in reports including unique ones like 'unused space by user' - or use the Microsoft Access-compatible data files to generate your own custom reports. In addition, data files can be stored and re-loaded, or compared to highlight change over time. Search across all data collected using complex, easily-constructed, queries and get near-instant results even with the largest networks - e.g. 'files not accessed for 6 months and owned by user x larger than 1MB beginning with a C or a D' - then cut and paste the results directly into another spreadsheet or database application - or e-mail the user! Look at files in detail - including the ability to view files of many formats.
