It is a WAV to MIDI converter for live performance, making MIDI files, transcribing music, and finding chord names from polyphonic WAV and MP3 files. It works in real-time as a MIDI controller as well as with files and faithfully recreates effects such as pitch bend, vibrato, tremolo, and portamento. IntelliScore is polyphonic and can recognize music containing more than one note at a time, such as chords. Now you do not need a MIDI-enabled instrument or even know how to play an instrument to create MIDI files from your favorite music. Version 4.0 represents the most significant advancement to intelliScore since its creation and for the first time makes music recognition technology practical for non-musicians. It contains the following enhancements: 1. Live performance mode. Control a MIDI-enabled instrument or your computer¡¯s sound card in real-time while you play an analog instrument. 2. MP3 support. You can now supply music to intelliScore in the form of a wav file, MP3 file, or live audio. IntelliScore converts this audio to MIDI data. 3. Greater realism. With monophonic audio, intelliScore accurately tracks changes in volume and pitch while notes are being held, faithfully recreating effects such as pitch bend, vibrato, tremolo, and portamento, so MIDI performances are now more expressive. 4. Timing detection. IntelliScore can now automatically determine tempo, notes per beat (timing resolution), meter, beats per chord, and measure synchronization. Achieve better recognition results with less effort. You no longer need to tap in the tempo! 5. Easier recording. The new real-time record level meter helps you record your audio at the optimum level the first time. Eliminates guesswork relating to setting proper recording levels. 6. More accurate.
