NetStatus Professional
NetStatus Professional is a network monitoring application designed to monitor anywhere from 1 to 250 servers or devices on a network. NetStatus Professional has multiple test types that cover anything you might want to monitor on your network. Tests include HTTP, FTP, Telnet, Ping, Disk Space, Event Log, File Exists, NT Service Status, Performance Monitor and more. With Windows tests like Service Status and Performance Monitor tests, you can fine-tune your testing to monitor specific applications or hardware resources. NetStatus Professional enables users to remotely reboot servers, restart services, run diagnostics and generate reports via a web interface. Because it uses XML to store all data collected, there is not a heavy database overhead involved in setup. The user simply installs and opens their browser. If users need to run a trace route or arp on the machine where NetStatus Professional is running, several network utilities have been wrapped into the browser interface to allow you to run them from your desk and start diagnosing problems. In addition to email, net send and http notifications, NetStatus Professional can perform advanced actions that enable the user to remotely reboot a machine, restart a remote service, write to a text log or run an executable/batch file. NetStatus Professional also has powerful reports available through your browser and use Adobe Acrobat PDF files. All application help is available through your browser.
