Perl Module Manager
Perl Module Manager helps you to install, un-install and manage Perl modules from a CPAN site and other sources in an easy and intuitive way. Allows you to search thru thousands of useful modules and libraries on a CPAN site and its mirrors, download and install the modules of your choice. Automatically launches internal nmake util and makes necessary changes in the Perllocal.pod file. The Perllocal.pod file contains a list of locally-installed modules not included with the standard distribution. If you download and install Perl and then install several CPAN modules, only the CPAN modules will be listed in perllocal. It's updated during the "make install" process, by code in ExtUtils::MakeMaker. Stuff is added to perllocal when you install modules via 'make install' due to stuff in ExtUtils::MakeMaker. Perl Module Manager makes all the necessary changes in the file during the installation or un-installation processes. ActiveState Perl Distribution compatible. This is freeware and will always stay as such.
