Ascendis Caller ID works with your telephone company's caller identification service to track and announce phone calls. Each caller can be announced with a pop-up window and any combination of wave files, text-to-speech, email, hang up, or the program(s) of your choice. Features: displays name and number of caller; tracks incoming phone calls (includes caller name, number, date, time, and number of rings); announces callers with sounds you record, speech synthesis, email, or program(s) you specify; can hang up on specified (or unknown) callers; supports caller-specific actions; power users can define scripts for caller actions; shares modem with other TAPI programs; computers without modems can get caller information over local network or internet; uses TAPI to share modem with other applications; includes web and TiVo servers Supports importing callers directly from ACT! or from other programs by way of CSV (comma-separated value) files.
