An alternative to MS Office with similar Graphical User Interface (icons, desktop, windows and menus) and the same capabilities. Can import, read, edit, exchange, and save files with other office suites such as Microsoft Office. Is available for Microsoft Windows, and a version for Mac will be available soon. Equipped with an information window that shows news about updates, upgrades and new releases. The window opens as the application loads. PlusOffice consists of several integrated programs which allow to edit text documents, create spreadsheets and multimedia presentations, prepare graphics, and create databases. PlusOffice allows to view and edit documents in MS Office 2007 formats such as docx, xlsx and pptx. OpenOffice uses ODF (Open Document Format) as the default format for its documents. This format allows to view and edit files using any text editor. PlusOffice Free edition is licensed for an unlimited number of computers.
