At scheduled times FTP 4 Webmaster connects to a webhost; downloads a logfile or any other file (decompresses it if compressed in gz format); removes the file from the host (optionally)); invokes a command on the downloaded file. You set the schedule to once a day, a week or a month for each domain or webhost. With one click on a short cut entry in your local website directory FTP 4 Webmaster synchronizes the local website with the webhost; it uploads only new or changed files, it deletes files deleted in your local copy. Visitors of your webhost see the old version of an uploaded file until the file is completely uploaded. You can confine the synchronizatin to certain files and directories only. Thus templates, sketches, and scripts are not uploaded. If you like to have a history of how your website evolves, it creates a zip file of all files in your local website after each upload. For security reasons FTP 4 Webmaster encrypts your ftp parameters using the strong blowfish cypher. It uses customer specific crypt keys, so a generic crack is not possible.
